Symphony

For a recent exhibition to pair with Charleston’s Spoleto Festival, I produced a series of silk constructions on the theme of “Symphony,” using layered images and sheet music. The silk layer is mounted over an inner frame in which a paper print has been recessed. Black frames are 21 × 21 inches; Burl wood frames are 10 × 10 inches. Edition of five for the large constructions.
